Now with their unequalled experience in the field of automatic Brinell hardness testing they have extended their well established BRIN200 range of optical Brinell hardness testers with the BRIN200D Brinell hardness tester which incorporates a fully automatic optical indentation measurement system. The BRIN200D uses "state of the art" electronic technology. The entry level price is less than one third of that of the BRINscan.
  
  
• The test forces are applied using the traditional lever and weight method. The operator interface is via industrial membrane keyboard sealed to IP65 or via optional touch screen. The Brinell hardness is measured in the authentic way and the test result is displayed on the monitor, test results are saved to disc as they are displayed and may be printed out at the end of the batch together with some statistics if required.
  
  
• Automatic measurement adds only about 1 second to the cycle time and is consistent and independent of the operator. Batch testing may be interrupted to make individual tests.
